Ukraine - Country of Dreams

Our peaceful country Ukraine is a dreamland for us at the moment. We would like to go out one day and see no war, around us only peaceful people and the beauty of nature. We don’t want to hear the drones and air raid sirens, see the missiles and spend hours in the shelters. We want to have a future, enjoy the beauty of our native land, and live in peace and harmony. We long for peaceful springs… And let the water carry away all the hardships and atrocities of wars.

I heard it — or was it a dream?
That there is a land of dreams.
In that land grows a magic grove,
Where anyone may freely roam,
Feel the mysteries unfold,
And hold the secrets of wondrous spells.

Let the river carry me
In a boat of fantasy,
Lift me to the sky above,
As if I’m drifting in a dream.
Let the river carry me
In a boat of fantasy,
Lift me to the sky above,
As if I’m drifting in a dream.

There are passageways so deep,
Reaching down to secret roots.
There, the beasts of heavenly sorrow sleep…
Yet I never ask myself
Where that land is on the map —
I just set off without delay,
Into the distance, far away.

Greece - Thalassa (Sea)

The Song  is written by a student name George Gianellis (the music) and the lyrics are also written by a student Angelina Papadopoulou.
The theme is the sea and the benefits for our souls especially childrens' souls when they play at the seaside.

Slovenia - Papaya

We, members of the school group Pogrüntey from Bistrica ob Sotli, Slovenia, are truly proud to be part of Schoolovision again. This time, our song is a little less serious than previous years — it’s about the importance of being friendly and kind to others. With our song and video, we simply wanted to share some good vibes. We feel that now, perhaps more than ever, the world needs a little laughter.
Just watch and listen — you’ll surely understand.

Pogrüntey are:
Eva - vocals and drums
Julija – guitar and songwriting
Eva - guitar
Jakob - bass guitar
Ines - keys
Mimi - vocals (but not in this song)

Translation of lyrics:

Papaya is cool,
But ginger is not—
It belongs in the junk.

I take just one bite,
And I almost die—
It burns and it stinks. No fun!

Be just like papaya—
Yellow, sweet, and good.
Soak up beams of sunlight,
Don’t be such a root.

Sometimes you’re fun,
And you make me laugh,
But sometimes you drive me mad.

Just when I think
You’re papaya at heart,
You show me your ginger side.

Be just like papaya—
Sunny, sweet, and good.
Soak up beams of sunlight,
Don’t be such a root.

Thank you all and have a beautiful, sunny day. And remember: be just like papaya :D

Ireland - An t-arm rua

An t-arm rua

In Donegal, Ireland, where wild winds roam,
Scoil Cnoc na Naomh is our cherished home.
Where voices soar from land to sea,
In Gaelic song, proud, wild, and free.

Friendship dances in every tune,
A bond that glows beneath each moon.
Scoil Cnoc na Naomh, a sacred space,
Where every child finds voice and place.

Our sixth class writes with hearts so strong,
A vision bright—a hopeful song.
Of justice, peace, and friendship true,
A world remade in every view.

From dreams they hold to truths they share,
Their words bring light, their thoughts laid bare.
And rising up with purpose wise,
An t-arm Rua lifts all hope to rise.
Please see lyrics and translations below.

An t-arm rua
Chím domhain nua. Lán le cairde, gan aon cruacht

I see a new world. Full of friends, without hardship
Braithim bealach úr. Anois ár n-uair
I see a new way. This is our time
Is linn an glór
This our voice

Achan tuairim, achan smaoineamh
Every opinion, every idea
Ar fud na tíre, thar an mhuir
Across the country, across the sea
Ag dul le chéile ag roinnt cultúr
Getting together sharing cultures
Damhsa is rince, cúrsaí ceoil
Dancing and dancing, music and song
Spórt is spraoi ó Dhú na nGall
Sport and fun from Donegal
Is cuma suim, is ionann iad
Whatever interest, they are the same
Scáirt amach ó Chnoc na Naomh
Shout it out from Cnoc na Naomh

An t-arm rua, spé an chumhacht
An t-arm rua, spread the power
Ardaigh ár ngutha chuig síochan
Raise our voices for peace
Is linn an bua, faoi néaltaí dubha
Victory is ours under dark clouds
Scaoil an stua ar fud an domhain
Release the rainbow across the world

An t-arm rua

Ag léamh, ag scríobh, ag foghlaim ar scoil
Reading, writing, learning at school
Caitheamh aimsire, fonn is fuil
Passtimes, full of joy
Ag imirt cluichí G.A.A
Playing G.A.A games
Aonbheannaigh, uirlisí tabhachtach
Unicorns, important instruments
Ealaín, ainmhithe, damhsa gaelach
Art, animals, Irish dancing
Nádúr, Lexus, fiú Jujitsu
Nature, Lexus even Jujitsu
Truailliú millteanach i ngach spás
Terrible pollution in evey space
Ag athrú dearcadh trí googly eyes
Changing attitudes through googly eyes

An t-arm rua, spé an chumhacht
Ant-arm rua, spread the power
Ardaigh ár ngutha chuig síochan
Raise our voices for peace
Is linn an bua, faoi néaltaí dubha
Victory is ours under dark clouds
Scaoil an stua ar fud an domhain
Release the rainbow across the world
An t-arm rua

Netherlands - De Lente komt eraan

The happy students of Unit 2 (Year 1) from primary school De Stappen sang and danced with so much joy on the song 'De Lente komt eraan', written by Jeroen Schipper. It's about the beautiful spring in The Netherlands, the flowers are going to grow, the little lambs and baby calves are dancing, glad to see the cold winter go.
Hope you all enjoy it, we certainly did! Happy spring!

Lyrics:
Lente, lente, lente komt eraan.

Belgium - Dansen op het plein

The 50 final year pupils of Qworzó - Merksplas - Belgium are very proud to present you
the Belgian entry for Schoolovision '25.

Our pupils were challenged to write and create their own song.

In the song "Dansen op het plein", our students sing about saying goodbye to their old school and starting a new chapter in life. We hope you like our cheerful song with a lot of summer vibes.

Be our guest, turn up the volume and sing along!

chorus:

De zon schijnt speciaal voor ons.

Kan het niet voor altijd zomer zijn?

Dit feestje, speciaal voor ons!

Boeken uit het raam en dansen, dansen op het plein!

The sun is shining just for us.

Can't it be summer forever?

This party, just for us!

Books out of the window and dance, dance on the square!

A big thank you to Academie voor Muziek en Woord de Noorderkempen!

Looking forward to reading your comments!

Good luck to all in this contest!

Kind regards,

Team Belgium

Turkiye - Günaydın Çocuklar (Good Morning, Kids)

There is a city where continents shake hands, where history meets hope, and where different cultures live side by side — That city is

🌷🌷🌛İstanbul🌜🌷🌷

With its bridges stretching between East and West, and its streets filled with the sounds of many languages, Istanbul teaches us something special:

We are different, but we belong together.

And now, from a city in the heart of Turkiye — a place called Uşak — 52 children have set out on a journey.

They have come to İstanbul not only to see its beauty, but to bring a message.

A message of friendship, peace, and joy — through a song written by a beloved artist named Barış Manço.

Standing in this timeless city, these children sing “Good Morning, Kids”.

It’s not just a morning greeting — it is a call to every child in Europe:

Let’s wake up together

Let’s dream together

Let’s smile at the world — together.

From Uşak to İstanbul, from İstanbul to all of Europe —

This is a gift from children to children.

A gift of harmony, hope, and heart.🌈✨🎤🎵🎶💕

Latvia - Flight with a Hot Air Balloon

We are Jelgava Primary School “Valdeka” – development centre – a joyful and inclusive school located in the heart of Latvia. Our students are children with special needs who learn, grow, and shine together in a warm and supportive environment.
This year, we are excited to join Schoolovision with our song “Flight with a Hot Air Balloon” (Songwriters: Raimonds Pauls / Guntars Račs). The song is all about dreams, freedom, and friendship – taking flight together, no matter how different or unique we are. Through music, we want to show that everyone can rise and soar when they feel safe, accepted, and inspired.
Singing, smiling, and working together on this song has brought us so much joy. We hope our message lifts your hearts as high as a balloon in the sky! ☁️

Let’s fly together!

#Schoolvision #Inclusive_education #Latvia #Jelgava #Valdeka #Flayinfg #Dreams

Flight in a Hot Air Balloon

Look up above, see how the stars
Dance the foxtrot through the night
Oh, how I wish that just one time
I could soar in a balloon in flight

We would float across the sea,
Watching lights below us gleam
Though I don’t know if it will be,
I know my heart still holds that dream

Flight in a hot air balloon
Just you and I inside the basket
From Kolka all the way to Rēzekne,
Across our land so dear and true

Look down below, see in the meadows
Blue flowers dancing a waltz in bloom
See how rainbow bridges shimmer,
Pouring down their magic light and hue

And the Gauja bends below us wide,
Take a look – just once – you too
Oh, how lovely this ride to the sun
In our bright and gentle balloon

Croatia - Zašto mi se spava? (Why Am I Sleepy?)

Hello from Virje, Croatia!

Here is our song!

Description:

The song is, in a way, a generational anthem for all pupils and students who are tired of waking up early for school. From not having enough time to get ready, eat breakfast and brush their teeth, to being tired during class and wishing it was always a holiday – the children yearn for a more balanced morning and time enough to fit everything they want to in a day, so they can avoid going to sleep late, and, as a result – sleeping in late.

Estonia - Meil on aega veel

Sometimes we look up at the sky, wondering if we still have time, If not, we borrow it at the expense of something else. We still have time, we still have time, everyone still has time.

Time – it's a strange thing! One moment it seems like there's plenty of it, and the next it's already gone. Sometimes it passes so quickly, and then other times it just drags on and on and on... Our song is about time. When you spend time with your friends and loved ones, cherish and value that time. If you're going through a tough moment, remember – it will pass. And if you ever feel like life is unfair, just wait a little – not everything happens according to the clock. Your wishes will come true too, just give it a little time ;)

Austria - School of Rock

🎸 Welcome to the School of Rock! 🎸
Get ready to turn up the volume! This is Austria’s official entry for Schoolovision 2025 – a powerful, hard-rock anthem straight from the classroom to the world stage.

“School of Rock” is a song performed by our students, and it’s all about breaking free from boring expectations. In this song, kids fight back against the idea that they’re too young to decide anything, to change anything, or to rock out loud.

With loud guitars, stomping rhythms, and lots of attitude, we show that even young voices can be powerful, rebellious, and full of heart.

This is more than just a school project – it’s a movement.
" We shake the ground, wild and free" in this years Schoolovision 2025!

We are Austria. We are the School of Rock. 🤘

Lyrics:

Intro:

So you think that just because we're young, we don't know anything about rock'n'roll?

Wrong... You want proof? Just listen!

LETS GOOOOO...ALRIGHT!

Verse 1

Chorus:

You say we’re kids, but wait and see,
We shake the ground, wild and free!
So turn it up, and we’ll never stop
We are the School, the School of Rock!

Post Chorus:

Still don't believe us? Don't worry, there is still so much to come
we're really just getting started

lets goooooo

Verse 2

Chorus:

You say we’re kids, but wait and see,
We shake the ground, wild and free!
So turn it up, and we’ll never stop
We are the School, the School of Rock!

You say we’re kids, but wait and see,
We shake the ground, wild and free!
So turn it up, and we’ll never stop
We are the School, the School of Rock!

Iceland - Róa (Row)

A Strong Connection to the Sea and Resilience in the Winning Performance from Iceland

A group of ten-year-old boys deliver a powerful performance that they created entirely on their own. They performed the song Róa (“Row”), which draws on Iceland’s deep connection to the sea — rowing a boat, life on an island in the North Atlantic, and the tradition of fishing here in Iceland. At the same time, the lyrics serve as a clear metaphor for perseverance, resilience, and the determination to keep going even when the waves are high and the wind is against you. The boys choreographed the dance, filmed the video themselves, and edited it with creativity and care. Their inspiring performance earned them a well-deserved victory in the competition Flatóvision in our school, the preliminary round of Schoolovision.

Lithuania - The cheerful spring has come

The cheerful spring has come The morning has dawned The Sun has risen. The snow has melted The water has leaked The ground has dried up The birds have flown back A heron on the nest Is pecking with its beak Geese in the sky Are flying and gaggling. The cheerful shepherds Are not napping. Their animals Are grawning the grass.

Poland - Ach i och (aahs and oohs)

Our song "oh and ah" is a reflection on the modern world and a longing for the analogue world. But also a longing for years of blissful unawareness, joy, a world like in Astrid Lindgren's "Children of Bullerbyn".

We wish everyone that the words taste like cotton candy.

Lyrics
I sit down, because the film has begun
Let's watch it completely today
Our stories from over a few years
What's it about? Well, you tell me
This adult world has deceived us
Constantly wanting something right now
What weapon do you have against this
A storm is coming, I don't know where from

Hey, we could use a few oohs and aahs
Let words taste like cotton candy
Let the years pass, but let's live in a way
To never grow up,
hey We don't want drama, just oohs and aahs
I close my eyes, I'm there again
Our camper and the tiny hearts of cities
And four flights into space

We'll plan a little trip
A few days somewhere out on the orbit
We can see ourselves best from up there
What there is too much of, and what is missing

 Hey, ....

Malta - IF...

Our song “IF…” is a journey full of magic and imagination, taking you through a world of wonder. Full of surprises, this song makes you think, “What if one small moment could change everything?” Listen closely…for the adventure begins with just one little word: IF.

Basque Country - Bihotzaren Taupadak

"The Heartbeats of the Two" – The heartbeats that bind us
The song "Bihotzaren Taupadak" is an emotional hymn that talks about the strength of unity, hope and shared identity. It reminds us, with surround tones and deep lyrics, that the heartbeat marks not only individual life, but the collective pulse of a people, a cause, or a love. It is a song created to promote the Basque language, a social movement that aims to keep the Basque language alive among Basque society. It is a call not to surrender, to continue, guided by the purest and most genuine feelings. Every note is a reflection of the emotion that inhabits us, an invisible bond that keeps us together even far away.
A song that plays at the rhythm of who we are.

Spain - Tomorrow Will Be More Beautiful (Mañana será más bonito)

From the charming village of Valsequillo in Gran Canaria, the children of CEIP Elvira Vaquero bring the voice of Spain to the European school competition Schoolovision 2025. They do so with a message that springs from the heart and connects with the most human: the need to take care of ourselves, to feel and trust that everything will get better.

Their music video, "Tomorrow Will Be More Beautiful," is not just a musical proposal, it's a declaration of principles. Through an honest and moving performance, this artistic project highlights something as necessary as it is forgotten: emotional health.

They talk about what many keep quiet: that sometimes we are not well. And it's okay not to be well. It's not a flaw, it's not a weakness, it's human.

But they also remind us that, even on the darkest days, hope shines, and that tomorrow can be more beautiful.

Friendship, mutual support, family, and gratitude for what is essential intertwine in this song like a sweet and powerful medicine. Hugs, shared laughter, group dancing, and small everyday joys are revealed as true healing tools. Resilience and self-improvement are threads that sew this story together with sensitivity and beauty.

"Mañana será más bonito" (Tomorrow Will Be More Beautiful) is not just a song: it's a tribute to real life, with its lights and shadows.

From the Canary Islands to all of Europe, CEIP Elvira Vaquero invites us to build a more empathetic, conscious, and luminous childhood.

And they do so with a message that leaves a lasting impression:

"It's okay not to be okay... and tomorrow will be more beautiful."

Long live friendship!

Lyric

Give me time

I'm not at my best

But I'm getting better little by little, yes

Today I'm down, but I know tomorrow will be more beautiful

Different

A different vibe, a different environment

Today I'm at minus twenty

But I recharge with my people

And while I heal my heart

Today I go out to the sea to take advantage of the sun

It's okay not to feel well, it's normal, it's not a crime

I'm alive, I don't need anything else

And while I heal my heart

Today I go out to the sea to take advantage of the sun

It's okay not to feel well, it's normal, it's not a crime

And tomorrow will be more beautiful

Cheers, because my parents are okay

And my little sisters too

Today I'm not at my best, but it'll soon go away

With my friends and good music

Friends visiting, my ailments will go away

Although being sick is normal, anything is okay

May I not lack health, not for me or for my crew

Or may I not lack Ovy in the instrumentals (music

Now with that I have

Sometimes I don't know where I'm going

But I don't forget where I come from

I know what I am and what I will be

That's why I have faith in myself

I don't need more

Just friends, give me time

I heal with your company

That peace you give me

I can't find it in others, no

That's why I want your kisses

To heal my heart

What is it, FRIENDS!

Summer is almost here

LONG LIVE FRIENDSHIP!

What would have been?

If I had known you before

Surely

You'd be dancing this with me

Always as FRIENDS

Without anything else

Your closeness makes me contagious

I'll do anything for a laugh

Your good vibes are so valuable

And although it's great, hey

No one supports you like I do

No one encourages you like I do

There's no connection like between you and me

She's shy and I'm not

With this desire I have

I dare to toast to both of us

Today you're in a bad mood

But, mmm, later maybe not

Finland - Hauki (Pike)

Kurittula school is very happy to be able to represent Finland in the Schoolovision 2025 contest! This year we sing about a pike. Pike is the second most common fish species in Finland after perch. Pike lives in lakes, rivers, and along the Baltic Sea coast across the entire country. The only places where pike is not found are the mountain lakes in Lapland.

The song has been composed and written by the popular Finnish artist Arppa. According to him, the song tells an absurd yet beautiful story of a moment when the singing pike saves the narrator from despair.

***********

The Pike

That yard started to feel too small.
I wished I could turn into a mushroom.
to sit quietly in the autumn forest
waiting for someone to find me.

That yard was shrinking day by day.
And my thoughts became like a fishing lure
stuck between the rocks by the shore
too tired to chase the light anymore.

I sat there feeling lost
thinking that nothing would ever change.
Until a great pike swam up to me
and suddenly made everything clear.

Sometimes in the evenings
I wandered back to that same shore
hoping to hear the pike’s beautiful song again.

But then I saw the news in the underwater paper
The pike had left.
He wanted to find bigger stages to conquer.

I had sworn I would never return
to that small tight yard.
But in that moment I forgot

It’s no use worrying too much about tomorrow.

If nothing else I left that evening
with one more song in my heart
and I headed home.

Maybe today when you feel alone
a great crystal ball will appear in the sky
filled with comforting words.

Maybe today when you feel alone
the sky will become clear
and the songs you almost forgot
will fall gently from the treetops.

May be today when you feel alone
a great crystal ball will appear in the sky
filled with comforting words.

Maybe today when you feel alone
the sky will become clear.

Switzerland - Karawane

Sometimes things just fall into place. The first inspiration for this song was an outing, on which we coincidentally got introduced to this sound path. The most impressive of the gadgets was this track of tuned stone plates with a granite sphere. At the same time one of our classes dealt with sound poems, most of them by Hugo Ball. Hugo Ball was one of the artists who founded the Dada movement in Zürich in 1916. Dada was a movement that made art totally different to what was expected in order to protest against the fighting that was going on and how the world was working at the time. So they did silly and surprising things that didn't always make sense. Amongst other things, Hugo Ball wrote sound poems that left it to the audience what exactly the sounds of these syllables represent. To illustrate our song we animated the works of artists of the time to use as background. One of them, the guy with the tall white hat, is supposed to be Hugo Ball, as he dressed for his performances.

So the big idea about Dada is that art is all about being creative, playful, and even a little rebellious. We hope that all of you have a lot of fun while working on your contributions to this year's Schoolovision project and that you can enjoy our entry as much as we did creating it. We are looking forward to seeing all your postings and wish you loads of luck for the results.

Peace, love and light from Switzerland

Germany - Barbaras Rhabarberbar (Barbara's Rhubarb Bar)

Does this song sound familiar?
Some months ago "Barbara's Rhubarb Bar" went viral with people singing along, translating it into their languages and dancing away to its tune around the globe. Thus it became a fun and entertaining ambassador of the German language and culture.
The song plays with the specific characteristic of German which allows to construct compound nouns of infintite length by adding additional words like in "Rhabarber-Bar-Barbaren-Bart-Barbier-Barber-Shop" which is especially big fun with all the alliterations.

Our children love the lyrics by Bodo Wartke along with Marti Fischer's music who gave us permission to present their song in Schoolovision which we are very grateful for.

Enjoy the performance and dance with us if you like!

Czech Republic - Joy

There are so many negative, aggressive things and wars around us. We chose the song Joy, which sings:

“Clap, smile, dance - the earth is turning, the sun is rising, the night is going to sleep, now is the time to laugh”.

Joy strengthens us and it is said that “laughter is the best doctor”. Feeling happy is important to us.

Chorus: "Clap your hands, smile, dance - the earth is turning, the sun is rising, the night is going to sleep, now is the time to laugh."

Rules

The 2025 Eurovision Song Contest final will take place on Saturday, 17 May.

Meanwhile, the 2025 edition of Schoolovision will come to its conclusion on Friday, 16 May, the day before the real Eurovision. Join us in this fun-filled project, as we find out who will be the latest Schoolovision Champions in the 17th edition of our grand project.

We welcome all members, new and old, to this unique eTwinning project, which guarantees fun for all participants, students and teachers alike, as we learn about each others' cultures through the medium of music and song with the added excitement of a friendly competition.

Full rules below; please read them carefully!

OVERVIEW

Following a similar format to the Eurovision Song Contest, Schoolovision 2025 will once again allow one primary school from each eTwinning country and beyond wishing to participate, to record and upload a song of their choice, to be viewed by all other participants in the project.

In addition, all countries will be asked to evaluate and vote for their favourite songs after they have listened to all the others - and of course, voting for yourself will not be allowed!

You and your class will have until Friday, 09 May to decide upon your song, practise it, video it, and get it uploaded and embedded onto the project blog website, using either YouTube or Vimeo.
Once all songs are uploaded, you will need to get your class to watch all the other countries' entries and decide who will receive your votes. This should be done in the week from Monday, 12 May until Thursday, 15 May.

On Friday, 16 May 2025 you have two choices: You can either join the team for a video conference, starting at 10.00 am CEST time, during which we will announce our votes to each other and total the votes up, so we can establish the winner. Or, if this is not possible, you will be able to watch a recording of the video conference afterwards to see who the winners are, or simply visit the project website, as the results will be posted straight after the video conference finishes.
In any case, you will need to email your votes to Steffen, the project administrator, by Thursday evening (15 May) and NO LATER than 1800 hrs CEST. Thus we will be able to successfully total all the votes from all participating countries and announce who are Schoolovision champions for 2025. The winning school will be sent a specially commissioned trophy!

FULL RULES

1. There can only be one entry from each country with an independent status. Usually, this will mean one participating school per country. As a special exception, joint entries of several schools from one country are acceptable.

2. Schoolovision is for primary schools only. In addition, the participants (active singers) must be a maximum of 12 years old during the present school year. Their turning 13 in between is acceptable.

3. All previous entrants will already have received a request, asking to confirm that they wish to enter the 2025 contest. After confimation they will receive an invitation to become an official eTwinning partner in the project, followed later by a separate invitation to contribute to this project blog. You need to sign up for the blog, whereby you will be able to upload your finished song in due course.

In addition, please send Steffen a photograph of your school and the link to its website, so that everyone can see which countries and schools are participating this time.

4. The song you choose to sing should be one of your choice, hopefully chosen in collaboration with your pupils, and can be sung in any language. It can be a well-known song or an original song that perhaps no-one else will have heard of - it's up to you!
However, it MUST be connected to your country in some way. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF THE SONG HAS BEEN COPYRIGHTED, YOU MUST GET PERMISSION BEFORE USING IT.

5. Musical accompaniment is permitted but only in the following way: Members of your class (your pupils) who wish to play musical instruments can do so, and your song can have adult help who could for example, play a piano or a keyboard to lead the tune of the song. Alternatively, you can use a CD for the tune (but without the original singers' voices) - your children MUST do the singing!

6. All entries MUST be completed and uploaded by Friday, 09 May midnight at the latest. When your song is ready, it is your task to post the video of your song to the project website via www.blogger.com using the embed code provided by either YouTube or Vimeo. All files must be uploaded by Friday, 09 May, as each country will then need to watch all the entries and judge them during the following week, Monday, 12 May till Thursday, 15 May.

7. Once you and your pupils have watched each entry and chosen your favourites, please email your choices to Steffen before 1800 hrs CET on THURSDAY, 15 MAY.
YOU MUST NOT VOTE FOR YOUR OWN ENTRY!

7.a As of 2018 we adopted (but leave optional for you to choose individually) the latest ESC rule according to which 50 % of the votes are given by an expert jury, in this case us teachers. As we are not technically able to copy the exact voting process of the ESC, we will install it in such a way that all partners may mix their national pupil votes with their own teacher votes before sending them in.

8. It is always a great experience to receive positive and encouranging comments. By participating in this project, you also agree to let your pupils write such comments under the videos of their partners. Equally, you will reserve some time to write a number of comments yourselves. You are welcome to encourage colleagues and parents to follow your example, thus making the great work of your pupils and yourselves more known and positively regarded, just as the whole Schoolovision project.

9. In the earlier years of this project all countries' entries were listed according to their results. However, since some partners were unhappy with the unequal chances (perhaps due to different availability of technical and muscial support in the various countries), a new rule was installed in 2016. All partners can choose if they wish to be listed with their full result or if they just wish to be named including a link to their entry. The top 20 scores will be published automatically; all others may opt in to be listed with their actual results.

GOOD LUCK to all partners! Enjoy making your own video and watching all the other entries, too!
May the best overall entry lead the scoreboard while we are all winners in this together!

*** As said above, the whole point of Schoolovision is that you try to sing something that relates to your country. If you compose your own song - fantastic! Over the past years, we have had some really outstanding compositions by various Schoolovision teams.
If you choose to sing a song that has already been recorded previously, then it MUST be culturally relevant to your own country. If you're unsure whether your song idea complies with this rule, please contact Steffen.
